Southwold has so much to offer visitors of all ages, at any time of the year.

It is also an ideal holiday location for exploring other local towns such as Aldeburgh with its delightful cinema, Halesworth and Beccles with its access to the Norfolk Broads. Boats can be hired on an hourly or daily basis and make a great family day out. Family fun can also be found at nearby Africa Alive and Pleasurewood Hills.  Easton Farm Park is a little further away but well worth a visit with young children.

East Anglia's great historial site is within driving distance too - the Anglo-Saxon burial ground at Sutton Hoo near Woodbridge

Tucked away on the Suffolk coast, Dunwich Heath offers peace and quiet, some great walks and the RSPB reserve at Minsmere.

Coastal Voyager based at Southwold harbour offers a range of boat trips, from their high speed "Blast" around Solebay to their gentle cruise up the River Blyth to Blythburgh and back.

Also popular in Southwold is the Adnams Brewery Tour.

Don't forget Southwold Pier, one of Suffolks best tourist attractions with great shops and cafes/restaurants

And finally I must just mention our own shop, Chapmans. Situated below Southwold Rock. Traditionally a newsagent but now so much more. Great gifts, greetings cards, Southwold product and those all important buckets and spades! Please pop in and say hello!
